In a recent conversation, I spoke with someone who described this exact feeling. They shared how their nervous system felt stuck, likely because of the stress they had been enduring. Oftentimes, when we go through challenging circumstances like accidents or trauma, a part of us, a fragment of our energy, or even a piece of our soul can disconnect from our body. When this happens, our nervous system goes into a heightened state of stress, leaving us feeling far from ourselves.

But here's the good news: there are steps we can take to reclaim our sense of self and calm our nervous system. In this blog post, I'll guide you through four essential steps that can help you restore balance, clarity, and peace in your life.

Step 1: Clearing Your Chakras

Our chakras are vital energy centers in our bodies, and there are seven main ones. To begin the process of restoring harmony, set a clear intention to clear and balance your chakras. You can enhance this process by using a Tibetan bowl, which emits frequencies that are effective in chakra cleansing.

Step 2: Clearing Your Space

The environment we live in can sometimes carry negative energies or lower frequencies that affect our well-being. It's crucial to regularly clear your space. Set your intention to call upon the highest source of energy, characterized by unconditional love, to clear and purify your space.

Step 3: Calling Back Your Soul Fragments

Now, it's time to retrieve the part of you that may have left your body during stressful times. In a deeply relaxed state, set your intention to welcome back any soul fragments or energies that may be outside of your body. Ask for them to be rinsed, cleared, and cleansed, and returned to your body.

Step 4: Energetic Protection

To ensure lasting peace and well-being, call in energetic protection as your new normal moving forward. This will create a shield of safety and grounding, allowing you to navigate life with a sense of calm and equanimity.

Let's first understand what energy cords are. Think of them as subtle, energetic threads that connect you to other people, places, or past experiences. These cords form for various reasons, such as emotional attachments, unresolved issues, or simply spending a lot of time with someone.

Why Energy Cords Matter

Now, you might wonder why these seemingly intangible cords matter at all. Well, energy cords can significantly impact your overall well-being. They have the power to drain your energy, leave you emotionally entangled, and even influence your thoughts and actions. But fret not; we're here to guide you through the process of setting yourself free.

The Release Technique

Let's dive into how to release those energy cords and reclaim your inner peace.

🔸Awareness is Key

The journey begins with awareness. Take a moment to reflect on your life and recognize the energy cords that may be affecting you. They could be attached to people, places, or situations. Self-awareness is your compass in this process.

🔸Visualize and Feel

Close your eyes and visualize these cords. Imagine them as tangible, physical ties connecting you to their source. Feel their presence and the emotions entwined within them. Visualization is your bridge to understanding.

Now, it's time for the release. Envision a majestic golden hand gently plucking these cords out of you by their roots. Set the intention that all hooks, cords, and bonds to the person or situation are now released, uprooted, and dissolved. After dissolving the cords, release the energy with love and gratitude. Visualize the cords dissolving into radiant light or floating away harmlessly into the cosmos. Breathe deeply, and feel the weight lifting off your shoulders. This is your moment of liberation.

Finally, remember to prioritize self-care and protection. Allow yourself to feel any emotions that may surface after the cords have been released. Emotions are energy in motion, and it's crucial to honor and make space for them. If you’re an empath or intuitive, you know how heavy life can feel sometimes — like you’re carrying everyone else’s energy on top of your own. Overwhelm, anxiety, or feeling “stuck” often isn’t about what’s happening in your life, but what’s lingering in your energy field.

The good news? You can release it, step into clarity, and reconnect with your own guidance and Spirit Team. Here are five practical ways I guide empaths to clear energy blocks and reclaim their power:

1. Start with Awareness

Notice where you feel tension, heaviness, or resistance in your body or mind. These are often signs of stuck energy. Simply acknowledging them is the first step to releasing it.

2. Move Your Body

Shake, dance, or stretch — whatever gets energy flowing. Physical movement helps shift stagnant energy and reconnects you to your body’s natural rhythm.

3. Breathe and Ground

Use deep, intentional breaths to anchor yourself. Imagine roots extending from your body into the Earth, letting excess energy drain away while drawing in fresh, supportive energy.

4. Call in Your Support Team

Invite guidance from your Spirit Team, angels, or higher self. Ask them to help you release what no longer serves you and to fill your space with supportive energy.

5. Set Boundaries and Clear Space

Check your physical and energetic environment:

  • Close doors to rooms you’re not using

  • Say a mental “no” to energy that isn’t yours

  • Use simple clearing tools — like sound, smoke, or intention — to reset your space

Have you ever seen an animal who has experienced a traumatic event? 

How they release the trauma is by literally shaking it off right then and there. 

The energy leaves their bodies as a result of shaking and they move along with their day.

We humans often times do not allow the space or time to process emotion at the time it occurs.

We bury it, ignore it, numb it, or try to run away from it. 

And what happens is that eventually this no longer works, and the emotion starts to get triggered. 

When this happens We lash out at the triggering party or blame them for our discomfort when the reality is they are tapping into emotion that is blocked within us that is ready to be cleared and released.

In this post I am going to dive deep into the 5 simple ways to clear these energy blockages once and for all.

The first step in removing our energy blockages from our bodies is to acknowledge when we are triggered and commit to feeling the emotion.

How we can do this is through conscious connected breathwork.

Breathing in a circular pattern with no pause or gap between the inhale and the exhale, gives us the space and opportunity to feel whatever is coming up without analyzing it or creating a story around it.

We simply feel the emotion and allow it to pass through.

Step 2 is to shake. Just like animals in the wild when we shake it out it allows the energy to be felt and it releases.

Step 3 is salt water. After you have breathed and shaked, immersing in salt water preferably the ocean is the best way to clear energy blockages from your body. If you are not able to access the ocean then use epsom salt in your bath water.

Step 4 is sacred smoke. Light some incense, sambrani, sage, or palo santo and set the intention that your body be cleared of all energy blocks. You can say your intention out loud or to yourself. Burn your sacred smoke of choice and clear your energy inside and out.

Step 5 is sound. Use a Tibetan bowl or chant a mantra like Om Mani Padme Hum. The high frequency vibration of sound clears energy blocks fast and effectively.

These 5 simple steps will help you to remove energy blocks from your body, in an effective, lasting, way that works!
